This blog is about a few customers talking about their wow brands; the brands which play an active role in their lives and which they would recommend to other people without having a second thought. Given below are the details of the interviews followed by an overall summary and analysis:

Our first interviewee, Umar thinks the comfort and specialisation offered by Nike go well with his lifestyle and make it a wow brand.







Prestige and sexiness is what Rolex brings to a man according to Sajjad. The brand does not disappoint him on durability and accuracy either.






Sidra is simply delighted whenever she uses any Loreal product. Such confidence she has on Loreal's honesty and integrity.






Haroon here is 'wowed' by Apple. He almost treats Apple as synonymous to innovation, and is pleased to use its products. The other brand which he would love to get his hands on is Ferrari because of its speed, sound and exclusivity.






Ralph Lauren is a wow brand for Fahad, because it has continued to inspire its customers over time, and at the same time has not let go of its American heritage.






Ambreen feels confident when she is wearing her wow brands: Calvin Klein and Chanel. She thinks they are expensive but are worth the praise she gets from people.






The ability to sustain and innovate over hundred years is what amuses Sami about Harley Davidson.






Faiza thinks Google is a wow brand as an employer because of its ability to change over time and meet the employee expectations, specifically in terms of work environment.





From most of the interviews above, it is apparent that for a wow brand, delivering on functional aspects alone is simply not enough. Wow brands need to create unique experiences for their customers. For instance, in the interviews above, the customers feel 'delighted', 'pleased', 'confident' and 'inspired' after using the wow brands. The wow brands, by consistenly delivering on their promises, establish a reputation of integrity and honesty with their customers. This ensures that they are to stay for a long period of time.

Based on the factors above which create 'wowness' in a brand, I believe Ralph Lauren is the best wow brand amongst all discussed on this blog. The brand has consistently delivered over time on its product quality. Its customers feel inspired by it; they believe that it stands for a particular lifestyle and heritage and will continue to do so in future as well.
